Sick

I went to a clinic today because my sore throat from yesterday hadn't gone away and I found out that I have strep throat. This means that I am stuck at home for the next few days because I can't be around the kids. Yuck.

Hanging with Friends

I finished the bridesmaids hangers! My parents were here this weekend and my dad drilled the holes in all the plaques, as well as the Mr. and Mrs. signs (which I also finished). They look really cute and I'm super happy with them! I can't wait to give them to my girls!

Brooch Heaven

I got two more in the mail: the green one for Shannon's bouquet and the purple one for Hannah's. Now I just need to get more silver wiring so that I can finish these bad boys up.

I got the wire for my dress hanger! That means that I was able to finish my hanger!!

I bought more wire yesterday at Walmart so that I can continue working on the bouquets. I also received two of the brooches I ordered in the mail today, however, one of the purple ones is way too pink so I had to find another one on ebay that I'll have to order. I may use this pin some other way, maybe give it to my flower girl since it's little pink flowers.

Color by Numbers

They're finished! After sitting in a box in our living room for a month or so, I have finally finished the table numbers! The problem was that I had the numbers themselves printed for the 4x6 frames and didn't think to leave a margin and the frame was cutting off some of the words. So I had them reprinted but it Staples FOREVER to get them done (along with the third issue of our newsletter) and I finally picked them up tonight. I cut them all out and put them in the various frames and now they are DONE! Now I can...pack them in the same box and leave them in the living room until the wedding.

I finished our card box tonight and it looks great! I just had to hot glue the strung pearls on, cut out the letters and glue them on as well, and put the bow on top. (For full instructions click here to see my website.) Here it is!

I also received the tote bags for my bridesmaids from Vistaprint today! They look great and I'm really excited to start decorating them! (Now I just need to order the chiffon for the flowers for them.) Here are pictures of them as well as mine which came in a couple days ago:

AND I ordered the wire for my hanger last night and it shipped TODAY! I'm so excited to get it!
